This is a fabulous week that will cater to your needs no matter what stage you are on of the writing journey.
Established authors can enjoy time amongst the vineyards and olive groves of Tuscany and Umbria to work on their latest project. You will also have fantastic experiences to inspire you and enjoy networking with other writers from around the world.
While novice writers can attend Indie Author workshop sessions. The workshops will be tailor made based on the wants and needs of the participants.

During our indie publishing workshop sessions, invited speakers will give you practical advice and tips on the next best steps to take on your writing journey.
Workshop sessions will be for three hours for three days and the remainder of the time will be spent experiencing Tuscany and Umbria, giving you lots of inspiration for your next book with likeminded people.
You will leave inspired with a step by step plan tailored to your own author journey.

The Food
A farm to table three course dinner will be served every evening by our chef, we use products only from local farmers. Before the arrival we will send you the menu and you may ask us anything that you would like to add or change. We offer a vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and lactose intolerant menu options.
Every morning a delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Refreshments available during our writing sessions and workshops.
Apartments & Venue
La Dogana is Lucia’s venue owned by the family from four generations. It is an organic agriculture venue with 32 hectares of park and a stunning view over lake Trasimeno and its islands.
All apartments have a living-room, one bathroom, two bedrooms, kitchenette and terrace. They are all different with their own authentic Italian style. You will have your own private bedroom and share the apartment space with one other old friend or new friend.
Writing and Adventures!
The venue has an air cooled bright indoor space where we will run our workshops three of the days (two mornings and one afternoon) where you will be guided through the best steps to take to make your book a reality, whether it be fiction or non fiction. There are lots of gorgeous outdoor spaces, including the fantastic pool, to chat, write and meet new friends, as well as long leisurely lunches and dinners.
During your stay in Umbria/Tuscany we will take you to explore three Tuscan and Umbrian Towns such as Cortona, Montepulciano, Spello or Gubbio for shopping, touring and inspiration! You will also enjoy wine tasting, a cooking class and other great experiences. You will also have free time to do additional activities such as relaxing massage at the venue, extra town visits or kayaking on the lake or more writing!
