Where We will Stay:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We will stay in Agriturismo La Dogana<\/a>, a picturesque farm guesthouse surrounded by olive groves just 15 minutes away from Anam Cara (Rosie\u2019s house). It has been an olive grove for generations of the same family and has featured in Rosie\u2019s \u2018A Rosie Life In Italy\u2019 series. The venue has tuscan style guest apartments and a restaurant and terrace reserved for our group writing sessions with a striking view over Lake Trasimeno.<\/p>\n

Each apartment comes with its own small kitchen, bathroom, shower, bedrooms, and terrace. There are beautiful locations to sit outside with others for chats and wine sharing including the fantastic pool with stunning views of the Lake.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Breakfasts and dinners will be amazing home-made Italian cuisine that will make you feel like you have an Italian nonna feeding you for the week.<\/p>\n

Free Writing (optional):<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In the mornings, you are welcome to join Rosie\u2019s writing coven in the shaded terrace overlooking rolling hills and Lake Trasimeno for writing sessions. This is a quiet, productive time for journaling, working on a book project or work-shopping a memoir writing prompt suggested by Rosie.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Before each writing session, Rosie will offer a short workshop session offering tips to those who want to write and self publish books and share how she became a full-time author from writing and self publishing living memoir.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you do not wish to write, you can enjoy free time by the pool or walks in the surrounding countryside.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Airfare is not included. Nearest airport Perugia. Fiumicino Airport in Rome is a two hour train ride away. Florence is 1.20 hours away.<\/p>\n

Any other extra transfers or any meal excluded from the ones in the package.<\/p>\n

    About your Host Rosie Meleady<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    I write what I call Living Memoir \u2013 it is like a reality TV show in book form. I have written five books in my ‘A Rosie Life In Italy’ series, and within two years, my self-published books made over \u20ac100k, which allowed me to follow my dream of quitting my day job to become a full-time author. The series has now been taken on by a major US publisher.<\/p>\n

    If you feel writing is a talent of yours, then you can do this too. You have had experiences that others can relate to or enjoy reading about. Or perhaps you just want to write for yourself or your family\u2019s interest. Whatever your reason, during my workshop sessions I will give tips and advice on how to make your memoir a page turner.<\/p>\n

    This is a tandem week for both established authors and novice writers.<\/p>

    Established writers can attend and enjoy time amongst the vineyards and olive groves of Tuscany and Umbria to work on their latest project and network with other authors.<\/p>

    Novice writers can attend the workshop sessions to learn how to get their book from paper to shelf and start making sales.<\/p>

    For Unpublished Writers:<\/p>

    We all have a book inside ourselves itching to be written. Some of us have put the words on paper, but now what?<\/p>

    • How do you make your book ready for sale?<\/li>
    • How do you get your book into the hands of readers?<\/li>

      During this self publishing workshop, invited speakers will give you practical advice and tips of how to become a published author, find readers and how to start making money from your books.<\/p>

        During your week in Umbria\/Tuscany we will take you to explore three Tuscan and Umbrian Towns such as Cortona, Montepulciano, Spello or Gubbio for shopping, touring and inspiration! You will also enjoy wine tasting, a cooking class and other great experiences.<\/p>

        During the week you have two half days of free time with the opportunity to do additional activities: relaxing massage at the venue, extra town visits or kayaking on the lake.<\/p>
